Hagia Sophia Ceiling

Hagia Sophia was the largest cathedral in the world for nearly a thousand years. After the fall of Constantinople the Ottomans converted it into a mosque. It’s catholic architecture remains a fixture of Ottoman architecture in the centuries that followed. This beautiful building is a true highlight of any visit to modern day Istanbul and this domed roof is an incredible sight to behold.
