The historic Route 66 is full of iconic styling and landmarks, none more beautiful however than the big Roys Motel and Cafe sign in Amboy, California. I visited this place on my first ever photography road trip in 2018 and never forgot how cool it was. I’ve had this image in my “must do” list ever since! The property was recently renovated and the lights were brought back on, the perfect excuse to head back and finally bring it to life! Capturing the milky way out here was a dream as it’s in one of the darkest parts of the route! Great spot for an astrophotography road trip.

Orion is one of the prominent winter constellations in the northern hemisphere. You probably noticed his iconic belt under even the brightest skies at some point. This is a very long exposure image that really brings out Orions beauty. From the vibrant orange Betelgeuse and the hot pink diffusion nebula in the bottom left. The detail also allows you to see the loose clouds of hydrogen gas that float in this region and the various colors of the stars. I love this shot from a cold winter night in death valley and you will too!

[Pearl Paper] Kinkaku-ji - The Golden Pavilion
from $90.00

This print is exclusively printed on Fuji Pearlized paper. This luxury paper option is highly glossy and the ‘pearl’ coating adds a 3-dimensional depth to the image. This is an excellent choice for those looking to frame their art piece. This photo in particular looks like it’s printed on actual gold leaf!

Kinkaku-ji, or the Golden Pavilion of Kyoto is a Zen Buddhist temple known for it’s stunning gold leaf exterior. No photo can do the beauty of this place justice but I tried my best! It was constructed in the 14th century and is a must-visit for anyone traveling to beautiful Kyoto. The grounds of this temple are much larger than you’d think and the peaceful landscaping makes for excellent foregrounds to photograph.

[Pearl Paper] auroras! jupiter! volcanic beach!!
from $90.00

This is for the auroras print on Fuji Pearlized paper. This luxury paper option is highly glossy and the ‘pearl’ coating adds a 3-dimensional depth to the image. This is an excellent choice for those looking to frame their art piece.

I spent 2 weeks in cold, rainy iceland in hopes of catching the northern lights. After spending 13 days roaming from waterfall to waterfall to glacier to overpriced restaurant, I had lost hope. Clouds and rain is all I got! On my last night in the beautiful country the sky opened up and gave me a hell of a show. Truly the most spectacular sight I have ever witnessed. The aurora dancing silently as the waves crashed on the volcanic black sand beach and Jupiters reflection shining bright on the right… there’s just so much happening at once!

This print really shines in the larger 13×19 or 18×24 sizes!

The bottle trees of Socotra are only the 2nd most popular endemic plant of the most isolated continental island in the world. My trip to Socotra in Yemen was a journey of a lifetime and this just may be my favorite photo from the entire week of camping just off the Arabian sea. I remember walking the area at sunset with my GPS unit just marking my favorite trees and knowing that this was the one. I came back hours later and photographed her with the moonlight illuminating the pink flowers. Just an incredible moment that I wanted to last forever.

For this photo I tried out a new technique that allowed me to get incredible details from the tree and sky behind it. This bottle tree portrait is a certified banger and will be hanging up in my own office as soon as I finish typing this.

PS I highly recommend this in the 13x19” size. the extra lengths does wonders for how it’s presented trust me.

An evening stroll through historic Kyoto, one of the most charming cities I’ve ever had the privilege of visiting. Riddled with temples, shrines and some of the most delicious food in the world, the former imperial capital of Japan is basically an open air museum. I took this photo on a rainy evening after leaving a cooking class. If I could recommend one place to visit in Japan, it would be Kyoto. My heart ached to leave this place!
