I can’t begin to tell you how lucky I am to have been able to capture this photo in Stanley, Idaho. The wildfires left the sky so hazy and the air a nightmare for both visibility and breathing. The skies opened up for me on this evening and I got my shot as quickly as possible because I knew the window was short. We had to leave this awesome place shortly after as the fires ruined the rest of our plans.
