I drew this design based off a beautiful art piece in a Madrasa I visited in Khiva, Uzbekistan. The idea behind my early 2026 photo project was the "Preservation" of Islamic Art and this mug is representative of exactly that. What is currently a decaying piece of ancient art somewhere in Central Asia is now preserved as a cute large size mug for your coffee, tea or anything else :)
