A tiny group (4 ppl max) late-night stargazing tour in Death Valley. Designed for those that want to watch or photograph the night sky over the beautiful mesquite sand dunes of death valley national park.

This astro expedition is for both photographers or nature lovers who want to enjoy the beauty of the desert landscape at sunset and the dark skies above. Most people live under light polluted skies and while Vegas has crazy light pollution-we're a gorgeous 2.5 hour drive from some of the most pristine stargazing locations in the country.

What This Includes:

- Tiny Group Size: Ensures personalized attention/coaching and plenty of time to set up for perfect shots or just spend time under the stars. Want to rent out the full car for privacy, you can do that too! Flexible for families with children 5 & up-booster seat capable & safe (just bring yours!)

- Photo tips and assistance from one of the most talented and coolest astrophotographers of all time (it's a small list): We'll talk about exposure settings and tips to capture the milky way and other celestial objects.

- Easy Pickup & Drop Off: Enjoy convenient and comfortable round-trip transportation from your Las Vegas accommodation. If you need help choosing where to stay I’m happy to help!

- Duration: Several hours, typically starting about 2 PM so we can chase that desert sunset, wait for the stars to come out and enjoy time under dark skies. We'll be back at your hotel before sunrise eventually, depends on how much fun we’re having! Expect a ~10 hour excursion.

-Price includes a gift bag, a sandwich for dinner on the dunes, soft drinks, water and plentiful snacks for the road! Also includes entry into the park and the round trip journey.

Physical Activity Level : Moderate! Pack comfy boots and be ready to climb up some sand dunes.

Sites we'll be visiting:

Night 1 Zabriskie Point - the iconic Death Valley overlook showing the vastness of one of America’s largest national parks and the Mesquite Sand Dunes to catch the beautiful sunset light and mountains of Death Valley & Artist’s Drive

Night 2 Badwater Basin - the lowest point in the USA! a salt bed and occasional spring time lake that creates perfect hexagonal patterns as the salt dries from winter rains

Night 3 Mojave Desert with Joshua Trees abound for wonderful milky way shots

If you book a full car you can pick where we go, either location is excellent for dark skies and beautiful landscapes or we can call an audible and head to other sites such as Badwater Basin.
