My small group astrophotography expedition is designed for both novice and experienced photographers who want to capture the beauty of the stars in some of the most breathtaking dark sky locations.
This immersive experience takes you on a journey to three iconic locations: Joshua Tree National Park, the legendary Route 66, and the historic Nevada mining sites.

- Duration: Several hours, typically starting late in the evening and returning in the early morning.

Our journey begins at your pickup location, where we'll embark on a scenic drive to a remote and pristine spot, free from light pollution. As dusk settles in, you'll set up your gear with guidance from our expert astrophotography instructor, who will share tips and techniques to help you capture the Milky Way, constellations, and other celestial wonders.
Throughout the night, you’ll have plenty of time to experiment with different shots, get personalized coaching, and connect with fellow photography enthusiasts. We’ll provide comfortable camping arrangements, including tents, warm sleeping bags, and if conditions allow-a cozy campfire to keep the chill at bay!
As the sun rises, enjoy a warm breakfast before we head back, with your memory cards full of stunning images and your heart full of unforgettable memories.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that attending our workshops requires advance commitment, and also that things can happen in life that may require you to cancel from a workshop. Based on cancellation date, the following apply:
Greater than 120 days before the workshop start date: full refund of any payments made.
120-61 days before the start of the workshop: 50% refund of any payments made.
Within 60 days of the start of the workshop: no refund.
Refunds will be paid by the same method that the original payment was made less transaction fees.
Note that there are some non-refundable workshops for which the above terms do not apply, and for these workshops we do not offer a refund of any payments made under any circumstances. This will always be noted clearly in the workshop description as “Payments for this workshop are non-refundable under any circumstances.”
Payments made for private workshops that you arrange with us are not refundable.
